It's a new record...3 posts in 1 month!! Well this past week we were out of school for spring break. Unfortunately Beckett caught RSV and croup so he was under the weather the whole time. He is feeling much better, we just have to keep doing breathing treatments until his wheezing is gone.
We did get to visit family over the break, Grandpa Dennis and Lisa came down to visit on St. Patty's! (we will post those pictures soon!) We only got a few hours will them but enjoyed seeing them and had a blast showing them around Atchison and the "haunted" houses here in town!
Later that day we left to head up to South Sioux City. Karter was getting confirmed for Chruch and asked me to be his sponsor. We enjoyed our 4 days there of relaxation since Beckett was sick. We also got to see the whole family as we celebrated Karter's confirmation and the March birthdays!
A little out door for a boy is necessary! It was over 60 degrees on Thursday!

a complete update!
So first I wanted to apologize to those avid blog readers (if we have any!) for not up dating it since Beckett's 1st birthday! Brian was the assistant coach for the girls Varsity Basketball team, I never realized how long a season it was until he was coaching! (God Bless both of our families for hanging in there all through our schooling!!) Brian truly loved coaching and had a great staff and girls to work with. They are trying to rebuild the program, so hopefully next year they will have a few more wins! Beckett loved going to the games and watching "ba ball" as he calls it! But life never slows down here, he started middle school track this week, but it will be a short season for us!
As for me, I am still subbing for the school district and love everyday I get sub! I did apply for a Para Educator job for next year, which if I do get hired will be nice to have a job everyday, plus benefits! I plan on going back and finishing school this next year, and since I have been subbing I have really enjoyed my time in the special education rooms. So I plan to get my degree in Special Education instead of Psychology! I am very excited for this!
Now for the one you have all been waiting for.. Beckett man! He is doing wonderful, his personality is hilarious, he love attentions and will get it by any means. Future class clown?!? At his 1 year check up he weighed 24.9 lbs and was 32 inches tall. He is getting to be such a big boy, and a great eater to become a big boy! It seems he learns a new word or sound everyday, he loves making animals sounds he can neigh, moo, maa(goat),ruff, roar, and quite a few more! He also knows eyes, nose, mouth and teeth! He jabbers all day long about everything, and is a true boy, he loves playing with any type of ball and throwing it! We couldn't be more blessed to have such a wonderful little man! He brings joy to our lives every day!
Well I am actually tired of typing and blogging so we will call it a day! Hopefully we are fully updated now!! We love and miss you all!

Feb/ March Pictures
We have had a lot of snow this winter and Beckett has loved playing in it! Our last snow storm we brought Beckett in a bowl of snow and he played for a half hour until it was all melted! It was such a great activity for him and we got some great pictures!!
We just recently celebrated my 26th birthday! It was a great birthday to be with Brian and Beckett!

Valentines Day
Beckett celebrated Valentines Day at daycare, we had a blast making his cards! Lots of paint every where, but that's why Brian is an Art teacher! We went to South Sioux to visit the Keefer family. Beckett had a blast playing with Kody and Karter and getting all of the attention (not that he is deprived!). Brian and I also got to go out on date with Anna and Drew! It was nice to get away and have adult conversation!
Snuggling and kissing his new Cousin Alaire! If they are anything like Anna and I were, we are in for it!
