1st doctors appointment

Today we had our first doctors appointment. Beckett now weighs 7lbs 12oz and is 21 inches long (mom and dad measured him at home and we measured him at 24 inches). He is a growing boy and checked out very healthy! Right now we are trying to develop a schedule, but we are still on Beckett's time! We are bright eyed during the night time and into early morning, mom and dad are exhausted from being up all night, but we are enjoying our time with him being awake now!

Keefer family visit

This past weekend Grandpa Joe, Grandma Tracy, Unlce Kody and Karter came to visit. This was the first time Grandpa, Kody and Karter got to meet Beckett! Kody and Karter will be amazing uncles as they stuck through it as Beckett cried and pooped his pants!! They are already talking about future stories of taking Beckett up to the duck blind! Do we dare let them corrupt this little boy!

Grandpa has the magic touch as he got to rock him to sleep a few times.

Grandpa is giving his first lecture! At least someone listens to him!!!

Our 1st Christmas

We were so blessed this year to have Beckett as our Christmas present. Although we spent Christmas away from our families, we enjoyed the company of our friends Jeremy, Diana and Simeon (our Godson!). The Cassidys live in Colorado, so it was a treat to have them here over the holidays. We enjoyed our usual pitch games and late night chats.

Arp family visit!

Beckett is one loved baby! Grammy Karen, Grandpa Dennis, Aunt Jenny, Uncle Daniel, and Great Grandma Flo came to visit for a few days! We had a blast with our first sleep over and enjoyed getting loved on by our family! Thank you for coming to visit.

The arrival of Beckett James

We were blessed with our bundle of joy who surprised us two weeks early! Beckett James Arp was born Monday December 8, 2008 at 12:31am. He weighed 6lbs 11oz and 20 inches long! He was very healthy and has a set of lungs on him (the nurses nicknamed him terradactyl!)! We are over whelmed with joy to have him in our life!!

Mom was in labor for 14 hours, and the last 3 hours were amazing after an epidural!! Grandma Tracy, Grandma Dianna and Uncle Brenton were able to be there when he arrived.

We have had a lot of visitors which we are thankful to have such loving friends and family!
